Growing in Times of Crisis

Verse: 3 John 1:2 – Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.

Reflection: We often have an attitude of discouragement and resignation during humanitarian crises, chaotic situations, and socio-political instability. We fail to realize that these moments are meant to grow our faith because the Lord Jesus Christ does not operate according to our time but according to His agenda following our faith. He will never do anything for a man without man’s involvement. Do not be shaken by contrary winds, for the God we serve transcends time and circumstances. Cling tightly to Him to grow in faith.

Prayer: Heavenly Father in Jesus Christ, help me to trust in all Your promises. I must grow, I want to grow, and I will grow in all respects. Thank you for Your infinite love for me. I offer this prayer in the precious name of Your dear Son, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns forever and ever.
