When Did You Stop Believing in Your Dreams?

Verse: Jeremiah 31:17 “There is hope for your future, declares the Lord…”

Reflection: Sometimes we want to reach higher, and other times we wonder why we should keep fighting. Many think about life as something that can end at any moment; others fear facing the daily battles of life.

But what we often overlook is that life offers no gifts; every outcome results from the decisions we’ve made.

Fight, even when you’re unsure if you’ll have the time to enjoy the rewards because the hardest part isn’t failure but the feeling of not having tried when you had the chance. God holds all knowledge, intelligence, and wisdom. We are created in His image, and just as He did for King Solomon in 1 Kings 4:29, He can do the same for us if we desire it.

Prayer: Lord, I know that fear comes from the devil, as does discouragement. That’s why today I ask You to instill in me faith, and courage… give me new ideas so that I can achieve the dreams You have placed in me for the glory of Your holy name. In the name of Jesus Christ, I offer this prayer. Amen.
