Le sermon sur la Montagne (Mathieu 5,6,7) Le sermon sur la Montagne (Mathieu 5,6,7)
The book of Proverbs is filled with divine wisdom, guiding believers on the path of righteousness and integrity. Among its many teachings, Proverbs 6:16-18 highlights seven things that God detests. This list is not exhaustive, but it offers a clear perspective on the attitudes and behaviors to avoid living a life that honors God.
Proverbs 6:16-18 (NIV):
“There are six things the Lord hates, seven that are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies, and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.”
