Verse: “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.” – Matthew 25:13

Reflection: This morning, let us meditate on the importance of staying vigilant and spiritually awake. Jesus reminds us through this verse of the importance of being ready and attentive, for we do not know when He will return. Vigilance is not just about being physically awake but also about being alert in our faith, our prayers, and our daily walk with God. Being vigilant means being in constant communion with God, living each day with intention, and being ready to respond to His call at any moment.

Prayer: Lord, help me stay awake and vigilant today. May my spirit be attentive to Your voice and guidance. Give me the wisdom and strength to live each moment with intention and to serve You faithfully. Help me be ready for Your return by watching over my faith and seeking Your will. Amen.

Action: Today, make a conscious effort to stay spiritually awake. Take moments throughout the day to pray, read the Bible, or meditate on a verse. Be attentive to opportunities to serve and encourage others, staying connected to God in everything you do.

Meditation: Take a few minutes to meditate on this verse: “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.” Reflect on what it means to be vigilant in your daily life and how you can better prepare for the return of Jesus Christ.

Starting your day with this devotion can help you stay centered on God and live with increased spiritual awareness. May your day be filled with God’s presence and guidance!
