Trusting Jesus Christ in Troubled Times

Verse: John 14:1 (ESV)
“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.”

In John 14:1, Jesus speaks words of comfort to His disciples during a time of uncertainty. He knows their hearts are troubled as He prepares them for His impending departure. The peace Jesus offers is not merely the absence of trouble but a deep-seated confidence in His sovereignty and love. It’s a peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7), guarding our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. This peace enables us to navigate storms with courage, knowing He is with us every step.
