Le sermon sur la Montagne (Mathieu 5,6,7) Le sermon sur la Montagne (Mathieu 5,6,7)
Isaiah 59:1: “Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.”
Reflection: In our human relationships, we often have at least one person to whom we can confide everything, which is good. But the true friend who loves at all times and whose faithfulness never fails is Jesus Christ. He is never too busy, always ready to hear us when we are in trouble.
If you are going through a difficult time and don’t know where to turn, know that Jesus Christ is waiting for you, He is seeking you. Do not harden your heart.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, in Jesus Christ, I have wandered for a long time seeking help from people, but I have often been disappointed. However, since Your word says that Your ear is not too dull to hear, in my smallness, I ask that You become my intimate friend, the one to whom I can confide everything. Grant me this favor in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
Action of the Day: Find a quiet place, take some time, and spend a moment in meditation. Tell Jesus Christ what is troubling you. Read the word of God. You will see that you will feel relieved.
