“I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
Psalm 34:2

Praising at all times is not easy, as it can seem insincere without love for our loved ones and ourselves. But as Christians, we must praise the Lord even in the darkest moments of our lives.

The Bible reveals that praise is integral to practical Christian life and brings great blessings:

  1. Praising God (Elohim) is a privilege and fitting.
    Psalm 33:1; Psalm 147:1
  2. Praising God (Elohim) is a command.
    Psalm 150:6
  3. Praising God (Elohim) delivers us from our enemies.
    2 Samuel 22:4
  4. Praising God (Elohim) gives us victory.
    Daniel 6:12 onwards
  5. Praising God (Elohim) is about gratitude:
    • For His justice
      Psalm 7:18
    • For His goodness
      Psalm 107:31a
    • For His wonders
      Psalm 107:31b
    • Because He is great and worthy of praise
      Psalm 145:3
  6. Praising God (Elohim) because you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
    Psalm 139:14

Praise and worship transport us to the throne of God, for He dwells in praise (Psalm 22:3). In His presence, there are no problems, sadness, doubts, or troubles. Let us continue to praise Him each day, and we will not even notice our worries.
