Le sermon sur la Montagne (Mathieu 5,6,7) Le sermon sur la Montagne (Mathieu 5,6,7)
Matthew 15:21-28
To persevere means to continue, advance, and resist to reach a set goal.
With perseverance, one can be saved, healed, succeed, victorious, and so on.
A Canaanite woman wanted healing from Jesus Christ for her daughter. Despite the obstacles she encountered, she persevered and eventually obtained healing for her daughter. At first, Jesus Christ told her that He was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. The disciples asked to send her away, but she insisted. She continued with perseverance in her request. Jesus Christ even compared her to a dog, but her perseverance paid off, and she obtained healing for her daughter.
In our daily lives, whether in the spiritual, professional, family, or other areas, many obstacles can stand in our way to prevent us from moving forward and reaching our goals. But do not give up. Persevere in prayer, as the apostle Paul encourages us in Romans 12:12: “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
Persevere in singing and meditating on the word of God, for it is said in Ephesians 5:19-20: “Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Do not give up. Change your strategy; use new methods. The reward is for the one who perseveres (Matthew 24:13; Hebrews 10:36).
Delight yourself in Jesus Christ, and He will give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4).
