With Jesus Christ

With Jesus Christ, there is perfect peace in life’s troubles and storms.

There is day and night every day. Similarly, dark moments, doubts, and troubles may arise in our journey. But when we are in Jesus Christ, when he lives in us, he reassures us and never fails in his promises.

Jesus Christ says in John 14:27: “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” With him, it is sure peace.

With Jesus Christ, there is renewed strength

In verse 10 of chapter 41 of the book of Isaiah, God (Elohim) tells us not to fear or be dismayed because he strengthens us and upholds us with his righteous right hand.

Thus, when discouragement, weakness, the desire to give up, or suicidal thoughts come, his love renews in us the strength to fight, to resist, to move forward. Jesus Christ gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak (Isaiah 40:29).

With Jesus Christ, there is salvation

When you feel lost, when you wonder if there is truly rest and salvation for your being, Jesus Christ promises you life, for you have been bought at a great price, the price of his blood. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). Whoever believes in the Son has life (salvation).

With Jesus Christ, there is forgiveness

Sometimes, the manifestation of our weaknesses costs us important human relationships, buries us in low self-esteem, and blocks our path to continue, simply because others are not always able to forgive us and sometimes, we are not able to forgive ourselves for our own mistakes and faults. But Jesus Christ, forgives us daily, no matter the gravity of our faults. “For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people” (Titus 2:11). And in 1 John 1:9, he tells us to simply confess our sins and in his faithfulness and justice, he will forgive us.

Lord Jesus Christ, help us to cling to you daily, to live in you and for you. Thus, we believe that we will not miss out on all that your love has in store for us. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
